Our rivers are a wonderful asset, providing wildlife habitat, recreational opportunities, and scenic beauty that enrich our community.  Five Rivers MetroParks is working to protect our rivers and their quality by identifying crucial areas along rivers and working with landowners to develop plans to protect these areas.

Sugarcreek MetroPark is one of 25 facilities within Five Rivers MetroParks, located in the Greater Dayton area.  Three ancient white oak trees -- over 550 years old -- can be reached by hiking the orange loop trail.  Although in decline, two still survive.
